SYMBIOSIS

Using different symbiotic relationships in nature, to map the intimacy in different modes that are similar to it in human society.

Based on some inspiration from the changes in the relationship between me and my twin sister, I began to think deeply about the relationship between people and tried to express it in an artistic form. So three groups of symbiotic relationships that actually exist in nature were I selected for creation, and new biological images were created for them, namely Mutualism, Amensalism, and commensalism. The three relationships repre- sent the three states of getting along in an intimate relationship, namely a good state of mutual depen- dence, a bad state of blindly taking, and a state of no connection.

DYNAMIC POSTERS

A pinnotheres pisum lives in the conch for a long time, and gradually the conch is completely wiped out, and the conch has long crab claws.

The anemonefish and sea anemone protect each other, and at the same time prevent themselves from being harmed by each other, and also protect both sides from some natural enemies. They fit together perfectly.

The tillandsia clings to one part of the trunk, but it does not harm the tree.

Tillandsia doesn't need to get nutrition from trees, but it has a place to live.

Typeface Design

In order to increase the visual impact and beauty of the poster output, I designed a set of fonts for this project that are easy to read and have a sense of design and uniqueness. The highlight of this set of fonts is that I used a lot of circles and rounded cutting angles to design, inspired by the red beads wrapped around each "new creature" I created.

PHYSICAL WORK

SYMBIOSIS

Using 3D printing technology,  chose resin materials and ceramic-like colours to materialize the three crea- tures as realistically as possible. And during the shoot, I invited my twin sister to hold them with me. This fits my theme very well, and also gives me the feeling that the two of us are inter- preting three different relationships.
